Green Stack plays on dual meanings. The bold stack of letterforms, and a not-so-subtle nod to that unmistakable dollar green. The dollar green backdrop evokes money without shouting it, while the lettering is painted in Black 3.0 - one of the darkest (and most expensive) pigments available. It absorbs nearly all light, giving the strokes a velvety, shadow-like depth that shifts as you move. This piece is a quiet flex, a reflection of recent travels, indulgent days, and the kind of inspiration that comes with a price tag. A green stack.
Part of the Close-Ups series, this work isolates one letterform to magnify its power, texture, and flow. A study in balance, style, and presence.
